I just wanted to say don't worry - I had 16.5 months between my two babes ! I got into a routine with baby 2 far quicker than with her brother and even managed to get them to nap at the same time each afternoon for over an hour - I'd usually be right there napping with them!! Believe me, I'm no earth mother and still can't believe I managed it :) Now they are 7 and 8 and drive me mad and make me laugh in turn! Good luck.
