Agreeing to do a post a day both overwhelms and stumps me. Ultimately, it forces me to examine my purpose as a blogger. I feel a bit ADD when it comes to thimbly things. One day I post about thrifting, the next day I post about having babies, and then the next day I talk about watercolors. But Evan reminds me that that is the point. My blog is a slice of life and a window to my personality (which can be a bit ADD). So if I seem unfocused, well, you’re just getting a glimpse of Kristena!
And the irony is that the blog helps me to focus. Believe it or not.
Here’s my box of scrapbooking stuff that I’ve hardly ever used. Just an example of my ADD… scrapbooking requires too much patience for me! (Theresa, I still want to try it, though!) But I think I’m going to use some of my papers to decorate the charging station I posted about yesterday.
Just a side note: I’m typing this one-handed, which seems to be the norm these days. Hold Baby with Hand A, peck at keyboard with Hand B.

Kristena, Evan is exactly right. I love hearing about the different aspects of your life. They’re all interesting and I don’t think it makes you look “unfocused” at all.

I found your blog via Allsorts. It is beautiful to look at, and to read. I find myself blogging about a myriad of different topics…we are human, mothers, and we are alive!

He’s definatley right. I love to read about the daily goings on in a crafter’s world, and I hope others feel the same because I’m also all over the place on my blog. Just found you btw, your blog is very lovely. And congratulations on your new addition! Your little ones are beautiful.

Oh, that’s totally how I blog. I *created* my blog for the specific purpose of blathering on about whatever the heck I felt like blathering on about, since no one else wants to listen. :p
