May 30

We’ve been experiencing a good kind of problem all week: too many parties.  And we’re pooped.  We love people, but I think we all crave some alone time now.

I have something really fun that I want to share tomorrow, but right now…

I’m going to read while my babies sleep.  Happy Friday.

Hmmm. “LIght in August.” My first introduction to Faulkner way back in high school. Of course, I remember very little about it…just Joe Christmas and lots of symbolism. I really should re-read it again if I hope to be considered a serious English teacher.

These are a few of my favorite things! I should mention that there was quite a bit of feta cheese in that omelet, which made it extra yummy.

Mom D- Do you recognize your copy of the book? I found half of a deposit slip with your name on it–presumably an improvised bookmark. : )

Cool! I knew it looked like the same cover, but I never imagined my copy was still around. I guess it was one of the texts Evan got by raiding the shed when we were overseas. Too funny.
