How fun! I loved making these as a kid. And it always prompted my dad to remind us that he used only one box of 8 crayons his entire childhood and we were very spoiled (*groan*)

That reminds me, our crayons are all busted too! I tried this a while ago, but they weren’t melting well. I think it’s time to do it again! It might calm some people down around here.

That is such a cool idea. We have plenty of broken crayons lying around. I’ll have to try this! Was Emily confused with the newly shaped goods? Did she know what to do with them?

This totally brings back memories when my mom did the same with us when we were kiddos! I love it! They were like Resse’s peanut butter shaped crayons! Did she like them? BTW, I’m so glad you shared your blog…we miss you and Evan and I love your pictures of what your are doing. We’ll have to talk camera sometime! See ya!
