I’ve been crocheting a lot lately, and I’m quite very in love with doilies. Truly, I used to think a doily was a pretty & useless object. But never again.

Oooo…doily earings, what a great idea! I am not as creative as these folks, though I do enjoy using doilys on top of a couple of tables in my living room. I never thought of being creative with doilys. Now I’ll start thinking more about it!

Hey, I’m sorry you guys couldn’t make it this past weekend. We missed you. I think we’re going to try to make it an annual thing. Hopefully we can give you 6 months notice or something, so that you can have plenty of time to find some childcare.
Question: In our bathroom I was planning on just using regular water-based paint to paint the branches and birds. Do you think that will work okay, or should I get some acrylic paint?
