Almost everything about it. (I could do without the incessant Toys ‘R’ Us ads on TV though. Seriously. My child doesn’t need a “So Chic Boutique” to make her look like a little scary pageant queen. So stop putting those ideas in her head, thankyouverymuch. While we’re on the subject, could someone please explain to me why it would ever be appropriate to air an ad for Top Model between Dora and Diego? Garrrr!)
Since I’ve already begun to make Christmas presents, I think it’s okay to share some pretty Christmas inspiration with you. But I do have family members who read my blog, so I can’t show you what I’m makin’. Well… maybe just a peak! :)

Are you making gifts this year? If so, whatchamakin?

Well. My roommate and I are SO excited to be making the majority of our gifts this year. So far, I’m working on:
- invisible bookshelves (http://www.instructables.com/id/Invisible-Book-Shelf/)
- soda bottle lamps
- record bowls
- necklaces
- homemade apple and pumpkin butters
- a journal
- perhaps some shrunken-wool scarves
- personalized note cards
It’s going to be a busy month, but Christmas is SO worth it!!!

p.s. I didn’t mean to write “SO” twice like that. What a nerd.

i’m SO behind on gift making! but i’ll be making some rice warmies for my inlaws, some pajama pants with appliqued tank tops for friends, some finger puppets, dolls and a stuffed monkey for the baby…um, not sure what else. can’t wait to see your other inspirations (and your finished goods once they’ve been given!)

I want to decorate for Christmas so bad….but I’m making myself finish up three school projects before I pull everything out. I love your flickr mosaic…such neat stuff!
