For My Birthday (which was 2 weeks ago)…

Pretty, Thrifting

Evan and the babies took me antiquing.  I came away with a few pretties I’ve been meaning to share with you.  So here’s some “Happy Monday” eye candy.

By the way, today there is ice inside our kitchen windows.  Like the frost that accumulated inside our freezer when I was a kid.

It’s very very very cold.  Just another excuse for more of this:

P.S.  I’m trying to wean myself from Flickr’s Picnik tool and actually learn how to use my camera.  And my new tripod.  So things might begin to look a bit different around here (with the exception of some curved corners on occasion - I like them).  I hope that’s okay! :)

    Wait…you still have to learn how to use your camera? I’ve pretty much thought your photos were professional every time I’ve looked at your blog. :) I honestly LOVE your pictures. And I love your rounded edges too. A brilliant touch.

    We have ice on the insides of our windows too…it’s brrrrr cold!

    I love, love, love the blue cut glass bowl! Beautiful! I have a weakness for antiques but don’t often spend much on them. I fortunate to inherit a lot of them from my great-grandmothers and from one of my husband’s great-grandmothers. All your finds are lovely.

    Oh, and I think your photos look professional too. ; )
