I'm looking for something to work on silk, but my worry is that the pattern on the fabric is a bit dark and when I tried one of these products, the effect was like the fabric got wet and colours went "moody"/"muddy", much darker than dry version of the fabric. I have it in my head that they showed you how to make the stiffener at home, possibly from sugar?!?!
