After seeing this and this and truly a whole host of great handmade clothing, I decided to make Emily another shirt. Which quickly became a tunic when I decided to put pockets in it.

I used the same pattern that I used for her other shirt, but I added a Peter Pan collar.

Random things of note:
- Debbie Bliss Knitting Magazine looks promising
- abby try again is all pretty to me (Hey Evan, this is your Mother’s Day hint.) :)
- Here’s a fun free dress pattern by Heather Ross
- My appliqued cardigan was featured on a French website, and I have no idea who they are or what they’re saying (but the site is cute!)
- Lion Brand has a cute pattern for a crocheted clutch
- This dress inspires me… giant pockets and all
And I’m making this a separate bullet-point so you’ll really notice it:
- Our friend Ryan made an amazing short film that’s definitely worth 3 minutes of your time :)

I don’t know how…but I stumbled across your blog sometime this week. It’s been sitting open on my computer, waiting for me to read it. I was probably link-jumping when I found it. Your photography and vintage effect is beautiful . I especially love the cherry blossoms against the sky. I love the blue/green/grey coloring. What are you using to acheive this?

Dear Kristena,
I love the sweet tunic you made for Emily. I love the peter pan collar. She is so adorable, and you sew beautifully!!!
Thank you for all the wonderful links you shared, and for linking to the tops I made! I was so excited to see your lovely appliqued cardigan featured on a French website!!!!
Love, Paula

Hi, that I was saying on my blog was that your idea is great to mask a hole in my cardigan. And so cute ! That’s why I selected it in my monthly selection.

The Debbie Bliss magazine is super sweet. I bought a copy a week or so ago. Just need to practice my knitting skills before I jump into the projects.

Oh! You did it! It’s adorable. Turned out so perfect. And I love the big gingham checks. For some reason I was picturing little ones, but this is even better. Totally cute!

A rough translation for you!
“J’ai pas mal hésité à trouer mes pulls pour leur ajouter des petits oiseaux”
becomes:
“I had to keep myself from putting holes in my sweaters just to add little birds”
