I’ve decided to make 4 more 15″ x 15″ blocks so it will be longer.
It is so very bright. Which I love.
What color would you use for the border?

I’d use a brown/dark brown so that the gorgeous colors are the main focus. I’m not a quilter, so take what I say with a grain of salt ;) It’s lovely whatever you do with it!

This is going to look so great all together. Bright and scrappy and old fashioned, I love that. I’d probably border it in white or off white. Or maybe even, like, mint green, to give it an extra boost of old fashioned.

Dear Kristena,
I love your beautiful quilt!!! The colors are so pretty! I love pink, so I think that would make a lovely border, but you should use your favorite color! The embroidered pillow is so pretty, as is your bed and table.

were those supposed to be 15″ squares?? I’m sure I made mine 12″… or are you making them all bigger by just a little to stretch it a bit?
And I still love how it’s turning out. I like the idea of the a cream or white border… although you could go with anything and it would look superb. :)

Love your quilt. I’m not a quilter but I love it as it is! I would chose cream, but I suspect the border is a preference.
