So I’m embracing it.

It was hard to get a well-lit picture.  This is a bit yellowy.

There.  That’s it.  Drab, but honest.

I dyed 4 shirts in a bath of black Rit last night.  What does that say about my mood?

Here’s the before on this one:

And here’s me huddled by the window, searching for sunlight:

It’s been raining for about 10 days.

I will be drinking a mojito with my fish tacos when the Mr. gets home from work.  How are you celebrating?

Hope you have a safe & happy holiday!

Oh, how I long for a mojito or a margarita tonight. Oh well, babies are sweet. I’ll live. :) I love the drab shirt!

Great color. We’re making chicken tacos, at this very moment (well, not while I’m typing :) )
    Enjoy your night!

I like what the rit dye did to the shirt. Very nice.

I love all these clothes makeovers you’ve been doing. So creative AND you didn’t have to go and buy a bunch of fabric. I keep telling myself to start these kinds of projects. Do you have a surger? I have only attempted a few things with clothes because I do not have one.

Fish tacos are the best thing ever, aren’t they? I prefer a good margarita with mine, but my partner in fish taco crime always goes for the mojito.

    Dear Kristena,

I love your blouse! It turned out so beautiful! The color is great and very becoming against your pretty skin and lovely smile. Thank you for sharing your makeover. Hope the sun is shining. We have been having lots of rain too, and with it came heat and humidity, ugh! Needless to say I have been spending time indoors and in my sewing room when I can.
    Love, Paula
