My friend Cheryl is very much expecting her first baby - Daisy. Naturally, I had to make her something with a daisy on it, right?
How about a teeny-tiny onesie with applique?

Cheryl dances, so Baby Daisy needs ballet slippers too.

And just so she has something practical (and something that will outlast that teensy newborn phase), I made a set of denim bibs.

I can’t wait to meet you, sweet Baby Daisy!

Those teeny tiny ballet slippers just kill me! They are adorable! You did a great job on all of it! Daisy and her Momma are two lucky girls to have a friend like you :-)

Oooh! These are WONDERFUL! Any chance you might have a tutorial? I’d love to learn how to applique onesies & sew the bibs! (I think the shoes are a little out of my league) :)

These are each SO adorable and so nicely made. I have never seen denim so successfully turned cute, practical and not-70’s-looking…well done! Lucky baby–actually, lucky mom.
