Our living room is in desperate need of some tender love & care. It doesn’t have much style to it.
I love the green (or gold?) couch, the grey-blue walls, and the hardwood floors. And I do enjoy watching the giant TV, although it isn’t exactly an art piece. And that’s about the limit of my living room love.
So what I hope to do this week is show you a project each day that spiffys the room…
And to get things started, here are some silhouettes of the babies. My friend, Mardel, and I made these one night last week while our DH’s slaughtered zombies together.
Evan helped me hang them over the TV, and in return, I helped him write a short script for work. Quite the trade-off. It took him 3 minutes to hang these. And it took us about 6 hours to write the script.
But it was fun! :)

I am really anxious to see what you come up with. I am definately ‘interior decoration challanged’ so am hoping to possibly see something I can use. I love your floors too. And I’ve always loved silhouettes. Oh - and your tv looks like the same one we have. I am hopelessly in love with the huge screen.
We moved from our very cluttered, much-too-full house to a tiny home on our acreage. It is so darn white-white-white here, with so little wall space for decorating or floor space to add anything, that I don’t really know what to do.

I love the cameos! The background design is perfect, especially in the light sky-color. And of course your dress is wonderful as well!

Oh, your house is so refreshing. My walls are terra cotta red and though I love them….my house feels too cluttered with the dark color. I love that seafoam blue coffee table.

I look at this, and I see clean. I envy your clean room. Where are your goldfish crumbs and dog hair that I have all over my house? We’re also redoing our living room (and bedroom, and bathroom, and kitchen, yeesh). So I look forward to seeing what you do. You have an awesome clean slate to work with.
