Do any of you have experience with dress forms? I’m looking for a good (but inexpensive) one. I tried the duct tape dress form, and, well, DIY doesn’t always work…

It’s funny how crafting impulses change. I’ve been interested in clothing design lately as well (and desperately wished I had a dress form while I was trying to pin a skirt hem the other day). I’ve found that an “inspiration” notebook has been my best bet where I can put any little bits and bobs into a book and flip through when I am looking for something new to make, but I’ve often wondered if a board that had everything visible at once might be handier.

Oooooh - love the two blouses at the bottom. I’ve been puzzling about a dress form also - and am glad that I don’t need to try the duct tape one. If Kristena’s didn’t work out, mine won’t! Go to Joann’s online and read the reviews on the dress forms they offer. They were surprisingly not very good - but it does give you things to look for (or watch out for) that I hadn’t thought of.
