who turns 3 quite soon.

On her birthday wishlist:
- cupcakes
- a BIG bag with Elmo on it for her tea set
- drawing pad and pencils
- this doll that she saw on Nick Jr. during commercials
- stickers
What else do you think a 3 year old would love?

I have two girls ages 2.5 and 4.5 and it seems like girls that age just love any kind of dress-ups. Maybe you already have that for Emily, but it’s another idea. I think the things on your list are plenty , though.

My daughter’s 4th birthday is coming up and I was going to make this sticker book:

and this fairy dress up apron:

If you decide to go with that doll, you might make some easier dresses to put on the doll. Some of those doll clothes are hard for little fingers to manage and if she likes sparkles you can make some extra fancy ones since you are talented that way…

it depends on the 3 y/o–your list is sufficient of her likes!
when mine was 3 y/o she was into kitchen stuffs: aprons, fake food, pots and pans, vintage egg beaters. :o)

My 3 y/o LOVES the plastic basket of food my mother gave her for her birthday. It was one of those afterthought-throw-it-in-the-package kind of ideas and it gets the most playtime of all her gifts. She carries everything around in a lunchbox, which is just so darn cute!

Our three year old loves to take care of her little dolls. So she puts them into a little tub, she has a little holder with tissues, with which she cleans them, she dresses them, undresses them, dresses them. She brings them to a hospital and then transforms into a doctor and makes them better. She plays with play bandages, play food, and is a little mommy all the way.
But, she is just as happy with some pencils, some paper, a little scissor and GLUE. Glue must be her favorit product of all times :-)

PLay-doh, play doh, play-doh. My son, 3 in Oct. can’t get enough of the extruder and the scissors.

Emily was to be with her Aunt Angel…I wish I could be there. All Emily wants is to be with her Mommy, Daddy, and her cute baby brother Jacob.
Love you,
Angel
