I just finished Erin’s outfit (since it’s not technically a dress). I modeled it for you, although I must warn you that it was made to her measurements and not mine. One thing Erin and I do have in common: we’re both redheads. Her hair color is more intense than mine (and it’s curly too!), so I think this will be incredibly striking on her.
I also made her a tulle flower for her hair using Martha’s Peony template and tutorial…
For added flair.

I cannot believe that it’s all mine! I feel like I should have picked it up at some chic boutique for an ungodly price. House of Kristena = Fabulous :)

Umm.. wow! I had no idea you were so handy with a needle and thread. I’m very impressed! Jealous almost, but fortunately this falls out of my category of “Things Burly Straight Men Like To Do”.

Beautiful! It is so stylish and chic. And fun too. When I first read the title, I was in a hurry and read: “ready to skip.” It wouldn’t have been a title that was too far out for such a cute and fun dress.
I love the careful details: the swoopy skirt, the sash-like waist band, the ruffle at the top of the bodice…

What fantastic stitchery…I’m back to my Anne of Green Gables days and wishing for red hair so that I could wear the colour green that well! I just came over to your blog from Flickr - what a lovely place. x
