Blacksburg is one of my favorite places on earth. I lived there for 4 years, I’m sure you can guess why, and I miss it all the time. Hope you’re enjoying it there. It’s about to get even better in Sept & Oct - nothing is better than fall in Blacksburg. Oh, and if you get a good amount of snow when the moon is full-ish, I recommend you take an after-dark hike to the Cascades waterfall. The snow will give you all the illumination you need and it is like magic.
